Chronic Migraine Treatment
Migraine Treatment at La Cuarta Urgent Care
Living with chronic migraines can feel overwhelming. The pain is more than “just a headache”—it’s a constant disruption that can interfere with work, family, and even the simplest daily tasks. Many people describe the experience as a cycle of throbbing pain, sensitivity to light and sound, nausea, and exhaustion that seems to take over their life. If you’re living with migraines, you know how much they can affect not just your health, but your ability to enjoy life fully.
What Are Chronic Migraines?
Migraines become “chronic” when they occur on 15 or more days each month, with migraine symptoms on at least 8 of those days. Unlike occasional headaches, chronic migraines are a neurological condition that requires more than just over-the-counter pain relief. They can last for hours or even days, leaving you drained and struggling to keep up with your routine.
A New Way Forward: Botox for Chronic Migraines
At La Cuarta Urgent Care, we understand how debilitating chronic migraines can be—and we’re here to help. Botox is an FDA-approved treatment for chronic migraines that works by targeting the nerve endings involved in migraine pain. Small, precise injections around the head and neck can reduce the frequency and severity of migraine attacks. For many patients, this means fewer missed days, less pain, and more freedom to live life without the constant fear of the next migraine.
